About Bardejov

Bardejov with over 760 years of rich history, has 35 thousand inhabitants. Its most valuable asset of the cultural heritage and the incidence of healing springs in its vicinity - Bardejov Spa. For the care of cultural heritage and conservation of historical monuments to him in 1986 was awarded the prize "Gold Medal" in 2000, Bardejov listed World Heritage - UNESCO. Its dominant feature is the historical center - town hall square, where, among other monuments located the church - St. Egidius a Gothic-Renaissance town hall. It also faces a large number of wooden churches in its vicinity. The oldest church in Slovakia (in 1500) is located 7 km in the remote village Hervartov.
